Nail Drills: Handpiece Maintenance, Warranty and Repair Policy
Routine Maintenance vs Warranty Claims
Our drill machine handpieces are precision tools designed for professional use. Like any mechanical device, they require regular maintenance to function reliably over time. Natural wear is expected and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Important:
- All nail drill machines include a 1-year limited manufacturer warrantyfrom the date of purchase and covers only manufacturing defects under normal, proper use.
- Covered Under Warranty
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal professional use, including but not limited to:
- Internal motor failure
- Malfunctioning speed or power controls
- Non-responsive power switch
- PCB or controller failure
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, including drops, spills, or electrical surges
- Failure to clean the handpiece
- Build-up of dust, dirt, or debris causing internal faults
- Neglect of regular maintenance required by the device manual
- Use of non-original or third-party parts/accessories
- Unauthorized repairs, tampering, or modifications
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or marketplaces
- Serial number mismatches or removed serial tags
- Damage during return shipping due to poor packaging
- Misuse, negligence, or use outside manufacturer guidelines
- Machines in heavily contaminated or dirty condition, where malfunction is caused by lack of regular cleaning
- Routine maintenance such as cleaning and replacement of wear parts (e.g., bearings, shafts, collets).
Reminder:
Cleaning and maintenance instructions are provided in the machine's user manual. Customers are expected to follow these guidelines to preserve product performance.
Initial Warm-Up Period for New Handpieces
All new handpieces have a warm-up period during initial use.
For the first 2 weeks, it is normal to experience:
- Slight noise
- Minor vibration
- Irregular behavior during rotation
These symptoms should subside within 3 hours of total (non-continuous) use.
If issues persist beyond this, please contact us for further evaluation.
Warranty claims will not be accepted for noise or vibration reported during the warm-up period.
It is very important to install the protection bur (included with your handpiece) or any drill bit when the handpiece is not in use.
This prevents dust, debris, and moisture from entering the chuck and causing internal damage.
Failure to use a protection bur may lead to early wear, improper function, and can void warranty eligibility.
