How To Clean And Care For SHEMAX Dust Collector

• Follow all safety and maintenance procedures when operating this unit.
• Take the time to clean this equipment after every single use.
• Clean the Filter:
• Unplug the device. Never clean it while it is plugged in. Wear a mask and gloves, then use a soft brush to sweep dust from the dust collector grid.
• Remove the metal grid (held with magnets) from the top of the unit and place it on an adjacent surface. Prepare wet wipes beforehand, laying them out on a table. Removing the filter from the top of the unit; place the dirty side on a wipe. Gently tap the edges of the filter to allow dust to fall on the wipe.
• Flip the clean filter onto its clean side and insert it back at the top of the unit. Then, put used wipes in the trash.

WARNING! Do not use water or liquid to clean the filter. Only dry cleaning is allowed; you must change it every two months.

• The metal grid should be clicked into position back on the magnets.
• Moisten the wipe with a disinfectant solution you can store in a disinfectant container and clean the surface of the dust collector. Then, make sure to wipe away any moisture.
• WARNING! If moisture is not wiped off the metal, it may start to rust over time. However, you may buff the corrosion away. 
• After cleaning, switch back on the dust collector. Power it up only through an AC supply outlet.
