These Tinted Base Gels are exactly as they sound – a base gel with a tint of a neutral color. They are a time-saver in the salon for clients who prefer a simple, understated design. With a semi-hard gel formula, these gels offer strength to the nails while still being soak-off. You can then add color, design, or a top coat for a subtle and perfect nail look. This unique formula strikes a balance between the softness of the Mega Stick base and the hardness of the Platinum Bond Duo, providing flexibility and strength to your clients' nails. Plus, this collection is soak-off, making it convenient for nail professionals.

*Tip: I always build a little apex with my base coats on my client’s nails. I highly recommend you do the same with these base coats! -Katie

1. PREPARATION: Thoroughly prepare the nail, removing any dead skin and loose cuticle off and around the nail plate. Lightly buff the nail with a sponge buffer to remove any dirt and excess shine. Wipe any moisture from the nail using alcohol to prepare it for your gel application.

2. BASE: Apply the Nail Thoughts Tinted Base Gel to the natural nail and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp. OPTIONAL: Apply two layers of the base coat, adding an apex while curing in between for extra durability.

3. OPTIONAL - COLOR: Nail Thoughts Tinted Base Gels are beautiful to wear on their own, but you can also use it as the perfect base for color and/or nail art. Apply your desired design and cure.

4. TOP: Apply Top Coat Gel and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp.

NOTE:

If the gel is applied very thick, it can cause an uneven nail surface or air bubbles to form leading to improper curing.
Store out of direct light and at room temperature after each use.
We recommend using a strong curing unit or else gel will not cure all the way through causing lifting or peeling. Follow the recommended curing times for each step.
Be careful not to get gel onto the skin. Gel applied over the cuticle or around the eponychium area can cause lifting. Uncured gel left on the skin can cause allergic reactions to occur. Discontinue use immediately if itching, redness or swelling occurs on your skin, and contact a physician.

LED: 30 - 60s / UV: 60 - 120s
