"Shimmery light neutral brown. This color is SO versatile. It is slightly sheer so if you wanted to layer it on top of one of the Tinted Base Gels, it would subtly take on those undertones and save you time in the salon. Honestly, my most recent favorite combo has been one coat of Desert Road on top of your Peach Base. Game changer. Two coats of this color creates a perfect neutral nail for those clients that are scared of nail art but LOVE a sneaky shimmer. This brown has a more warm undertone. This color name is inspired by a straight desert road with no one else around and the feeling of focus and grounded-ness from it all. No distractions, just you and a straight desert road to guide you." - Katie
All of these gels are PURE gel, not a gel polish. These gel colors have no nail polish solvent present, which means:
1. PREPARATION: Thoroughly prepare the nail, removing any dead skin and loose cuticle off and around the nail plate. Lightly buff the nail with a sponge buffer to remove any dirt and excess shine. Wipe any moisture from the nail using alcohol to prepare it for your gel application.
2. BASE: Apply Base Gel (Recommended: Nail Thoughts Builder Base) to the natural nail and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp. OPTIONAL: Apply two layers of the base coat, adding an apex while curing in between for extra durability.
3. COLOR: Apply Nail Thoughts Gel Color and cure for 30 seconds LED or 60 seconds UV. Apply as many layers to your preferred opacity, making sure to use thin layers between each cure. In most cases, you will only need one layer for full coverage.
4. TOP: Apply Top Coat Gel and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp.
NOTE:
LED: 30s / UV: 60s
