LASH LIFTING PROCEDURE STEPS

1. Lash Assessment

Determine which KeraSoft Step 1 product and exposure time to use based on the client’s lash type:

• Group 1: Thick, straight lashes with no prior chemical treatments —
  Use: KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1
  Time: 8–10 minutes
• Group 2: Medium or thin lashes with no prior chemical treatments —
  Use: KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1
  Time: 5–7 minutes
• Group 3: Medium lashes with prior chemical exposure (lifting, tinting, bleaching) —
  Use: KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1
  Time: 8–10 minutes
• Group 4: Thin lashes with prior chemical exposure —
  Use: KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1
  Time: 5–7 minutes

NOTE: Maximum exposure time for either Step 1 product is 10 minutes.
NOTE: Room temperature affects product performance — higher temperatures accelerate the reaction.

KeraBoost Step 2 exposure time is always 7 minutes, regardless of lash condition.

2. Prepping for the Procedure

2.1 Clean lashes with ÉLAN Detox Foam. Remove foam using a water-dampened cotton pad.
2.2 Place an appropriately sized silicone pad on the upper eyelid.
2.3 Use ÉLAN Fixing Gel and an applicator to secure lashes onto the pad.

3. Lash Curling — KeraSoft Step 1

3.1 Apply KeraSoft Step 1 only to the curl zone. Follow the exposure time for the lash group.
3.2 Remove product residue:

• First with a dry brush (in direction of lash growth)
• Then with a microbrush or cotton swab moistened with water

4. Lash Setting — KeraBoost Step 2

4.1 Without Tinting

4.1.1 Apply KeraBoost Step 2 in a thick layer across the lashes.
4.1.2 After 7 minutes, remove:

• First with a dry brush
• Then with a microbrush or cotton swab dampened with water or ÉLAN Detox Foam
  (If using foam, wipe it off with a water-dampened cotton pad.)

4.2 With Tinting on Silicone Pad

4.2.1 Mix KeraTint and KeraBoost Step 2 in a 1:2 ratio in a non-metallic container.

NOTE: Tint color may range from light brown to black after opening due to air exposure. This does not affect results.

4.2.2 Apply mixture in a thick layer across lashes. Exposure time: 7 minutes
4.2.3 Remove in the same way as 4.1.2
4.2.4 Apply ÉLAN Colour Fix to set the tint result.

5. Post-Lift Care — KeraCare Step 3

5.1 Apply a small amount of KeraCare Step 3 after using Step 2 (or Step 2 + tint mix). Distribute evenly. Leave on until fully absorbed — no rinsing required.

POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS

• Avoid brow henna or bleaching — may cause unpredictable results and damage.
• For 24 hours, avoid saunas, steam rooms, tanning beds, mechanical pressure (e.g. face-down sleeping), or brushing brows/lashes.
• For 48 hours, avoid harsh products or treatments on brows/lashes (peels, alcohol-based lotions, laser treatments, etc.).

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not perform lash/brow procedures if the client has:

• Sensitivity to any product components
• Skin damage, redness, or rashes around brows/eyes
• Recent use of tanning beds or laser treatments (within 24 hrs prior)

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• KeraSoft contains thioglycolates and ammonia
• KeraBoost contains hydrogen peroxide
• KeraTint contains phenylenediamines, toluene-2,5-diamines, and resorcinol

These ingredients may cause allergic reactions.

Perform a patch test 48 hours in advance:

• Apply 2 drops of each product to the inner elbow
• If no redness, swelling, or irritation occurs — proceed

If reaction occurs — consult a dermatologist.

KeraTint is not for use on individuals under 16.
Temporary black henna tattoos increase allergy risk.

Do not use if:

• You have a facial rash or irritated/damaged scalp
• You’ve had reactions to tinting or temporary black henna in the past
