BROW TINTING STEPS
1. Prep the brows
Thoroughly cleanse the eyebrow area using ÉLAN Cleansing Detox-Mousse. Gently remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.
2. Shape the brows
Define the desired shape using your preferred method or brow product.
3. Mix the tint
In a non-metallic container, mix Brow Gel Tint with ÉLAN Oxidant 1% in a 1:1 ratio.
NOTE: The tint may change color (from light brown to black) after opening due to air exposure. This does not affect the tinting result or consistency with future use.
4. Apply the tint
Using a precise brush, apply the tint along the desired shape of the eyebrows. Leave on for 5–15 minutes, depending on the intensity desired.
- Remove with a damp cotton pad or ÉLAN Detox-Mousse.
- If using the mousse, remove any remaining foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.
IMPORTANT: If the tint goes outside the brow shape, clean it immediately using a cotton swab dipped in water or ÉLAN Remover. Avoid letting tint dry on the skin.
5. Set the result
To lock in the color and condition the hairs, apply ÉLAN Colour Fix 2.0.
PRECAUTIONS
- The oxidant contains hydrogen peroxide. The tint contains phenylenediamines.
- Always perform an allergy test 48 hours before use: mix 2 drops of tint and oxidant, apply to the inside of the elbow, and observe for any irritation.
Do not use if:
- You have a facial rash or sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp.
- You’ve had a reaction to hair dye.
- You’ve reacted to a black henna tattoo in the past.
- For salon use only.
- Use protective gloves and avoid metal tools.
- Not for lash tinting. External use only.
- Avoid eye contact. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- In case of an allergic reaction, consult a dermatologist.
